RIT SIFE/Entrepreneurship Club

Most Filipino families live under $2 a day and cannot afford to provide education for their children. To help improve their educational future, SIFE is hosting a School Supplies Drive for the impoverished children living in the Philippines. Below is the information regarding the drive:

What: SIFE’s School Supplies Drive

Where: Campus Connections, SAU

When: Monday (February 11th), 11am - 2pm

What is accepted: Notebooks, pens, papers, crayons, ANY school supplies! Cash donations are also accepted to buy additional school supplies.

Additional help is always welcome! Please spread the word about our event!

Megan will be going to the Philippines soon so we’ll be wrapping up our school supplies drive. If you have any spare school supplies please bring them to the meeting to benefit school children in the Philippines.

On December 19th, 2007 we visited Mercy Residential Services to teach budgeting skills to the young women there. I’d like to thank Soham Ghosh, Megan Soriano, Cleveland Bonner, and Rushana Aglyamova for volunteering, our academic advisor Peter Rosenthal for setting this up and driving us, and Nafisah Clay for having us over.
